DonSUIA is the only institution of higher educational institution with specific conditions of study, which received a license for preparing doctors of philosophy of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in specialty 262 “Law enforcement activities”, branch of knowledge 26 “Civil security”.
On April 24, 2023, the Department of Attestation of Highly Qualified Personnel of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine adopted a decision to issue a license for conducting educational activities in specialty 262 “Law enforcement” (the licensed scope of recruiting is 10 persons). In addition, in the specialty 081 “Law” the licensed scope of recruitment has been expanded to 25 persons.
Preparing doctors of philosophy in the specialty 262 “Law enforcement activity” will contribute to the solution of complex theoretical problems and complex problems in the field of ensuring protection of human rights and freedoms, the interests of society and the state, combating crime, maintaining public security and order. In the conditions of the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine, the development of scientifically based security projects, the implementation of an optimal model of secure environment, and effective administration of post-conflict territories are necessary and in demand.
