A two-day anti-corruption marathon has concluded in Lviv, bringing together specialists of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from across the country. At the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, they discussed current challenges, shared practices, and shaped common approaches to building integrity.

Among the participants of the training was Anna Melnyk, Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Activities of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, who successfully mastered an intensive program designed to increase professional competence in the field of corruption prevention

The event was opened by State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Inna Yashchuk, Head of the NATO Integrity Education Program Joachim Frendin, Head of the Corruption Prevention Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anatolii Fodchuk, and Rector of the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs Dmytro Shvets.

During the training, the participants worked with real cases, performed group tasks, analyzed typical risks, and studied mechanisms for improving integrity in the Ministry of Internal Affairs structures. Lectures and practical modules became a kind of “professionalism exam” and, at the same time, a platform for exchanging experience between representatives of different regions.
