A series of discussion panels “Integrity in Action: We Read, Think, Choose” was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
Representatives of the academic integrity promotion group presented legal principles as well as methodological recommendations, and specialists from the DonSUIA general library provided the participants with practical advice on adhering to the principles of integrity in the course of studying.
In the format of an intellectual game, those present discussed problem situations that may arise in the process of mastering educational components and scientific activities.
The key moment of the discussion panels was the presentation of the Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in the DonSUIA.
The participants concluded that implementation of AI and development of information technologies are inevitably reflected in the educational process and scientific activity. Accordingly, the ethical aspects of the use of artificial intelligence and adherence to academic integrity are the key issues to high-quality education for higher education seekers.
The workshop proved that the DonSUIA is training a new generation of specialists, because forming an ethical culture in the field of AI and integrity is a strategic investment in the future of Ukrainian law enforcement system.
