A hostilities participant, director of the “Kedr” shooting training center, Ihor Andrieiev, conducted an educational excursion for the cadets of the faculty of training specialists for preventive activity units within the scope of the “Fire training” discipline on the theme “Modern hunting rifled and smoothbore weapons.”
The purpose of the event is to familiarize law enforcement officers with modern types of hunting smoothbore and rifled weapons, their tactical and technical characteristics, their maintenance methods, types of cartridges, the legal framework that regulates the possession and sale of hunting weapons, etc.
According to Igor Andrieiev, the population has millions of illegal weapons in Ukraine. Modern hunting rifled weapons, with some exceptions, have the same design and properties as combat weapons.
“Police officers must know the differences, clearly distinguish the calibers, brands and manufacturers of the most common types of weapons in our country, so that in case of their detection, they could act professionally without violating the rights of citizens,” said the center director .
The excursion was organized by Oleksandr Skrypka, senior teacher of the department of tactical and special training of the DonSUIA.
