Rostyslav Yaremchuk, a second-year cadet of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, provided first aid to a man who lost consciousness on the street.
Having immediately reacted to the situation, the policeman asked passers-by to call an ambulance, checked the victim for breathing, applied a bandage to the injured part of his head and monitored the man’s condition until the doctors arrived.
According to the staffers of the Kropyvnytskyi Center for Emergency and Urgent Medical Care, the skillful actions of the cadet saved the person’s life. They thanked the the DonSUA administration for high professional training of young people and their sustainable civic position.
