Specialists from the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs conducted a training course for police units of the educational security service on the topic “Age characteristics of children: deviations prevention.”
The training was attended by 20 officers from the Holovanivskyi, Kropyvnytskyi, Novoukrainskyi, and Oleksandriiskyi district police departments of the Kirovohrad region.
First vice-rector of the DonSUIA, Olena Volobuieva, and deputy head of the Kiro vohrad Regional Military Administration, Kateryna Koltunova, addressed the law enforcement officers with welcome speeches. They emphasized that knowledge of children’s age characteristics allows us to better understand the patterns of their development, identify risks in time, and prevent formation of undesirable behavior patterns.

Vladyslava Martirosian, noted that the relevance of the topic is specified by the need to create a safe and child-friendly educational environment.
During the training, the police officers formed a holistic view of the peculiarities of the development of school-age children behavioral patterns, mastered the algorithms for providing psychological assistance in extreme circumstances and conditions of crisis changes, they also learned effective coping strategies.
On completing the course, the participants received appropriate certificates.
