The staffers and education seekers of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs joined the all-Ukrainian project “The Power of Art. Power is STEEL”. The event was organized by the public organization of war veterans “MOVEMENT. Resources of Successful Moves” and is aimed at supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and veterans. This year, the University became an official partner of the project in the Kirovohrad region.
Specialists from the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work and the Unit of Career Guidance of the DonSUIA presented information materials on support programs for veterans, combatants, and persons with disabilities as a result of the war, which are implemented at the University, namely:
- the possibility of employment in administrative and educational positions at the University;
- participation in sports activities under the guidance of professional instructors;
- receiving psychological assistance in a specially equipped psychological relief
- room;
- legal support in the field of legal protection and document processing;
- participation in patriotic and educational events of the University.
The event participants also joined the process of weaving camouflage nets for the needs of the Ukrainian military.
The DonSUIA plans to continue supporting similar initiatives to strengthen the patriotic spirit, dignity, and unity of Ukrainian people, providing support to those who defend our country and its future.
