Intensive practical scenarios that modeled various situations on the Internet, from fishing attacks to information manipulation were included in the training on cyber hygiene for the University cadets. It was organized by Olha Haborets, assistant professor of the department of investigative activities and information security. The day before, she attended cyber security training from the OSCE “Intensifying the capabilities of national partners to strengthen cyber resilience” in the team of representatives of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. She shared her experience with higher education seekers.
Each cadet obtained an opportunity to develop skills in identifying, avoiding and responding to potential cyber threats.
“This training is not just a set of rules, but also an opening of the world of cyber security for them, which will become the necessary component of their professional activities,” said Olha Haborets.
According to the higher education seekers, the training provided them with the necessary knowledge and practical skills in the field of cyber security, necessary for successful functioning in the modern digital environment.
The introduction of such initiatives shows the importance of preparing young specialists for the challenges of the digital age and protecting information security of the society.
