The platoon commander of the UAV artillery reconnaissance division of the 40th separate artillery brigade named after Grand Duke Vitautas, senior sergeant Viacheslav Pakhaliuk (pseudo “Business”) conducted a binary practical class “The concept and purpose of UAVs. Peculuariries of the UAVs use for reconnaissance and combat purposes “for education seekers.
The guest spoke about the types and purpose of modern UAVs, mentioned the most successful models of household, civil and military aircraft that are used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in confrontation with the aggressor, demonstrated the main parts and units of FPV drones. Viacheslav Pakhaliuk focused on the work of the UAV pilot in conditions of countering the enemy electronic warfare system, outlined the main mistakes in piloting, demonstrated a video about combat work of the military man and his comrades-in-arms.
The officer showed separate elements of the drone and practiced the rules of its control. Under his guidance, the cadets practiced controlling the UAV and felt all the difficulties that the pilot faces in the process of his work.
The event was organized by an associate professor of tactical and special training department of the faculty of training specialists for the units of preventive activity of the DonSUIA Oleksandr Kolomoiets within the framework of “Tactical and Special Training” course.
