Oksana Dudina, regional coordinator of the Young Scientists Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad region, held an innovative workshop “Application of artificial intelligence in learning foreign languages” for higher education seekers of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The purpose of the event was to inform young people of the latest technologies of artificial intelligence (AI) and their application in the process of learning foreign languages.
The speaker told about interactive platforms, translation programs and specialized mobile applications Duolingo, Grammarly and their use.
The cadets tested a variety of tools, which allowed them to assess the efficiency of modern technologies in real educational process and choose the best ones for independent study of foreign languages. Oksana Dudina noted that that approach would contribute to the development of new competencies in future law enforcement officers and increase their motivation to study.
The event was organized by the Scientific Society of students, cadets, trainees, post graduate students, adjuncts and young scientists of the DonSUIA.
