Representatives of the administrative staff of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, together with higher education seekers, presented the higher education institution to 300 applicants from Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy and Mykolaiv regions.
In Kropyvnytskyi, the event opened with the performance of the DonSUIA drum ensemble and by cadets singing the University anthem.
Those present learned about the specialties, faculties, study conditions and the admission campaign from : head of the career guidance department Galyna Izotova, dean of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units Valentyn Tulinov, deputy director for educational and research activity Tetiana Rekunenko, dean of the faculty of training specialists for the National police units Oleksii Tsurkan, dean of the faculty of law and law enforcement training Iryna Lopatynska.
They emphasized that the University provides all conditions for a full-fledged and high-quality educational process.
Highly qualified lecturers and instructors conduct training in comfortable classrooms equipped with modern technology. In order to improve a practical component, special locations operate on the territory of the HEI: “Innovative space of the investigator”, “Hall of court sessions”, “IT-space”, locations “Mass burial site”, “Ammunition remains”, etc.
At the shooting range, cadets acquire practical skills in handling weapons. There are gyms and playgrounds for sports activities in different sports sections.
Special attention is paid to a security component. Currently, all educational buildings of the DonSUIA are equipped with temporary shelters for a continuous educational process.
Higher education seekers demonstrated their sports achievements. They also talked about everyday cadet and student life, handed out special applicant questionnaires to high school students and helped to fill them in.
An introductory tour of the University was held for the guests.
