More than 120 applicants from the Kirovohrad, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions gathered for an Open Day at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs in Kropyvnytskyi.
The representatives of the DonSUIA staff and its cadets and students spoke about the peculiarities of the admission campaign, study prospects, specialties, faculties, and everyday life of cadets and students.
“Studying at the DonSUIA, you will have an opportunity to realize yourself, to show your best qualities of a leader. The University has created all the necessary conditions for this,” said head of the career guidance department, Halyna Izotova.
The University life of higher education seekers of the DonSUIA is not limited to professional training. They constantly improve their skills in various areas.
The event was opened with a performance by the DonSUIA drum ensemble. Then the University cadets demonstrated their sports and creative achievements. On completing the official part, the cadets conducted an excursion for the guests. The visitors were shown classrooms, special and sports locations, a shooting range, a canteen, and a temporary shelter.
Boys and girls tried on policemen’s equipment, familiarized themselves with forensic special equipment, tried their hand at controlling drones and shooting with training weapons.
The University representatives helped all those who wished to fill in the applicant questionnaires, handed out career guidance leaflets and assured that each of them can enter the University. You just need to set a goal for yourself and strive towards it!
