With the support of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM), a new specialized educational facility “the Court Hall” was opened at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, which will expand the opportunities of training highly qualified specialists.
The interactive space is furnished with modern equipment, which was donated to the University by the representatives of the EUAM. There, higher education seekers will simulate court processes, practice the roles of judges, lawyers, prosecutors, witnesses, and also learn the skills of drawing up procedural documents and holding court debates.
On behalf of the University rector Serhii Vitvitskyi, vice-rector Olena Volobuieva, thanked the guests for their active support of the University. She noted that cooperation with the European Union Advisory Mission is a vivid example of a successful partnership aimed at the development of legal education in Ukraine. Due to the mission support, the HEI received modern equipment and expert assistance in the development of training programs and methods. This partnership demonstrates our desire to be integrated into the European educational space and meet high standards of legal education.
The project implementation will open up new prospects for the DonSUIA students: it will increase their competitiveness in the labor market, help develop critical thinking and analytical skills, and contribute to the development of legal culture. The specialized educational facility will become the center for conducting trainings and seminars.
