The training program included: analysis of international and European legal mechanisms to combat migrant smuggling; research of transnational criminal groups’ activities, in particular with an emphasis on the use of the latest digital technologies; mastering modern IT platforms for the exchange of operational information; practical classes related to coordination between investigators and prosecutors during the investigation of such crimes.
