A training course on combat medical care was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs with the participation of representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) in Ukraine. The event became a platform for exchanging experiences and discussing further areas of international cooperation in training law enforcement officers, which is especially relevant in wartime conditions.


Oksana Kabytska, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Special Physical Training, informed the participants about the methodology and content of the course, which was developed regarding the University’s combat experience. EUAM representatives had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with highly professional practices adapted to modern challenges of Ukrainian security sector.


In addition to the educational component the visit became a platform for constructive dialogue on further development of bilateral cooperation and determination of priorities for joint initiatives for improving skills, exchanging knowledge, and implementing European practices in training personnel for the bodies of internal affairs of Ukraine.
