Students of the Mariupol Center for Primary Professional Training «Police Academy» of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, studying according to the specialization of police units of educational security, welcomed spring with members of the Municipal Institution “Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation” in Kropyvnytskyi.
On the penultimate day of Shrovetide, law enforcement officers organized a special program for boys and girls with psychological games for teamwork and developing empathy at the «Hippos» Rehabilitation Center.
Also they had an opportunity to improve their professional skills in overcoming communication barriers while communicating with children of different ages.
«We organized this event so that children would understand that police officers are a friendly force that you can rely on», said Andrii Fomenko, head of the DonSUIA department of extreme and crisis psychology (on a voluntary basis), lecturer of a cycle of special disciplines at the MPPPC «Police Academy».
