Students of the faculty of Law, Management and Economic Security of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs took part in the practical orientation game “Imitation of a court session”.
The purpose of the interactive is familiarization with real court decisions on bringing people to administrative responsibility and to reproduce an authentic judicial process.
The participants tried themselves in the role of a judge, secretary of the court session, a police officer, an offender and his advocate. Strictly adhering to the norms of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses, the students worked out the algorithm of procedural actions and learned to argue their legal position. They also acquired practical skills of the court process participants’ behavior.
The event was organized by head of the department of state and legal disciplines and public administration of the DonSUIA, Hanna Konarieva, within the scope of the academic discipline “Deontological foundations of law enforcement activity”.
