The Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Activities of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs Kateryna Udod conducted a series of anti-corruption lectures for graduates.
The speaker touched upon the concept of corruption; restrictions on the use of official powers or position; rules of professional ethics and integrity for police officers; types of conflicts of interest, practical aspects of prevention and settlement; restrictions on receiving gifts, part-time work and joint work of close relatives; electronic declaration for 2024; the rights of corruption whistleblowers to create conditions for reporting violations of anti-corruption legislation, ways to establish effective interaction with whistleblowers, as well as the functioning of the anti-corruption system.
Particular attention was paid to the submission of candidates’ declarations and other peculiarities of financial control.
„Such lectures contribute to the formation of high standards of integrity among higher education seekers and raise their awareness of preventing and counteracting corruption,” said Kateryna Udod.
