Yehor Nazimko, first vice-rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, and Artem Kovalenko, senior researcher of the research laboratory of public security of communities of the faculty of training specialists for the units of preventive activities, presented an optional online course “Modern technical and forensic means of proof in criminal proceedings.”
It provides for the acquisition of in-depth forensic knowledge and practical skills in the use of modern technical and forensic tools during the implementation of evidentiary activities in criminal proceedings.
The course participants will learn about the essence and types of technical and forensic means of proof, the procedural order of their application. They are expected to master advanced means of detection, preliminary research and recording of evidence.
They will also try their hand at 3D scanning and prescribing certain types of forensic examinations.
Cadets who have successfully confirmed their sufficient knowledge on the basic educational disciplines “Criminal Process”, “Forensics” and “Evidence and Proving in Criminal Proceedings” are invited to master the discipline.
