A line-up on the occasion of the training start for seconded employees of the National Police of Ukraine specializing in “Community Police Officer” took place on the parade ground of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The project is being implemented with the support of the ICITAP international program and the preventive activities department of the National Police of Ukraine.
103 human rights defenders from 8 regions of Ukraine will be improving their professional skills under the guidance of experienced teachers and trainers for two and a half months.
Rector of the DonSUIA, police colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi, addressed the officers with a welcome speech: “You are motivated to study and are ready to overcome all the challenges of today for the sake of order in the communities. The best trainers will work with you. Pass this testing with honor.”
The event was attended by: head of the preventive activities department of the HONP in the Kirovohrad region, police colonel Volodymyr Kaliad, head of the unit of interaction with communities of the preventive activities department of the National Police of Ukraine, police major Maiia Breslavska.
Those present observed a moment of silence in memory of all those who died in the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine.
