Rector of the DonSUIA Serhii Vitvitskyi met with head of the separate unit of the NGO “All-Ukrainian Organization “National Coordination Center for Combating Corruption” – department director in the Kirovohrad region Oleksandr Shvedov. They discussed: the need to provide guarantees of state protection of the constitutional rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens; coordination of joint activities in promoting fight against corruption, crime and other negative phenomena and processes, development of a virtuous worldview.
The result of the meeting was signing the Memorandum on cooperation. Its purpose is to unite the efforts of the parties in the implementation of anti-corruption projects and development of integrity; ensuring functioning of an effective system of preventing and countering corruption; further implementation of transparency mechanisms, integrity, reduction of corruption risks in joint activities and of public trust level, development of a set of measures (rules, standards and procedures) to prevent, detect and counter corruption.
