Acquisition of tactical combat skills is a significant component of the educational process of higher education seekers of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
For the cadets of the faculty of training specialists for the units of preventive activity, complex tactical exercises in fire and tactical training were conducted with the participation of an instructor in tactical and fire training of the Public Union “Military-Civil Association” Military Brotherhood of Ukraine ” who has a pseudo “Drone”. He is also an operator of the UAV of the 4th detachment of the 73rd naval center of special operations named after the cossack chieftain Antin Golovatyi.
An industrial building under repair was chosen as a tactical training ground.
During four training hours, young police officers practiced: actions in small groups while approaching the building; inspection of the adjacent territory; entrance to the building; room inspection procedure; actions as part of the fire suppression unit; procedure for moving and leaving; tactics of entering separate rooms.
They also defined the sectors of responsibility and support of colleagues in case of: opening fire or detecting the enemy; enemy’s using grenades indoors and outdoors; detection of civilians in the premises.
The event was organized by lecturers of the department of tactical and special training of the DonSUIA.
