Cadets of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs took part in the Open Cup of the Kirovograd region “Kropyvnytskyi WRESTLING CUP” free style wrestling competition among adults.
In the individual competition in different weight categories, medals were won by:
Vladyslav Lavrentiev (up to 74 kg) and Vladyslav Rachkovskyi (up to 65 kg)- gold medal;
Mykyta Marchenko (up to 65 kg), Oleksandr Mosin (up to 86 kg), Oleksandr Riabovol (up to 70 kg), Nikhat Kerimov (up to 61 kg) –silver medal;
Daniel Marhenian (to 79 kg and to 86 kg), David Motornyi and Nikhat Kerimov (to 61 kg), Oleksandr Riabovol, Vladyslav Lavrentiev and Dmytro Popovych (to 70 kg), Oleksandr Mosin (to 92 kg) – bronze medal.
Dmytro Lunhu, senior lecturer of the department of special physical and pre-medical training, trained the team for the competition.
