Increasing the level of stress resistance, developing the skills of concentrating attention in difficult stressful situations, finding one’s own resources in overcoming stressful situations – a training session on overcoming stress and normalizing emotional state was held in Kropyvnytskyi, for lecturers of the faculty of training specialists in Law, Management and Economic Security and the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units.
Under the guidance of psychologists from the unit of psychological support of the DCC, Tetiana Ivanchenko and Oleksandra Kharchenko, the participants of the training performed “grounding” practices. They learned to be conscious of themselves in the moment, manage their anger and restore their emotional state.
A training session with the elements of “Prevention and overcoming stress” was also held in Kryvyi Rih. A University psychologist Oleksandr Azarenkov told the students of the faculty of training specialists of Law and Law Enforcement about the types of stress, its components, causes, methods of recognition, and the ways to overcome it. The higher education seekers determined their own level of anxiety and performed practical exercises to overcome nervous and physical tension.
“Stress is a part of our lives. Increasing loadings – informational, emotional – turn into a chronic psycho-traumatic situation and constant emotional stress. Stress destroys the personality and causes physiological disorders. To reduce its impact on health, it is necessary to develop stress resistance. This will help to overcome the negative consequences of stressful situations, preserve your physical, mental and emotional health, create a basis for internal harmony and high efficiency,” said Oleksandr Azarenkov.
