More than 300 high school students and their parents came to the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs in Kropyvnytskyi and Kryvyi Rih for the Open Door Day. The applicants were presented the University educational, scientific, sports activities, its faculties and specialties They were told about the admission conditions, advantages and prospects of studying at the higher educational institution with specific conditions. Schoolchildren from Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsks region saw the performances of the university’s best athletes and took part in a career orientation quiz. During the excursions, high school students visited cadets’ dormitories, classrooms, special educational facilities, the shooting galley, the bomb shelter, the library, the medical and sanitary unit, sports halls and the canteen. Pupils and their parents saw an exhibition of special means and equipment of policemen, forensic equipment for disclosing various types of crimes.
