Participation in security and stabilization measures, identification of collaborators, service at checkpoints, interaction with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard –such were the topical issues of organizational and tactical support for the activities of criminal police units under martial law which were discussed at DonSUIA.
The head of the Kirovohrad regional department of the national police Roman Koziakov delivered a lecture and mentioned the themes of discussion for the cadets of the DonSUIA and other higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The documentation of war crimes, timely obtaining of operationally significant information, communication with citizens, information and analytical support of operational and investigative activities were considered on the examples of the Kirovohrad region police activities in the de-occupied territories.
Roman Koziakov noted that the consequences of the occupiers’ stay at the Chernobyl and Zaporizhia NPSs and the shelling of the territory adjacent to the South Ukrainian nuclear station are not left out of focus. Fixing these crimes requires law enforcement officers to develop personal and citizen safety skills, interaction with the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
During the discussion, the participants regarded the methodology and tactics of organizing the work of criminal police units under martial law. In particular, the peculiarities of the activities of territorial and interregional units and their interaction with the pretrial investigation bodies.
Cooperation between the Kirovohrad regional department of the national police and the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs is an important component of training the cadets under martial law and exchanging practical skill.
