The webinar on the theme `Integrated Border Management: Interagency Cooperation of the Police and the Border Service` was held at the University.
The speaker from Estonia Aimar Koss, Senior Adviser on Integrated Border Management got involved in the webinar.
The EUAM representative told about the peculiarities and key elements of the Integrated Border Management conception, which was embraced by the EU for a coherent and coordinated border management system. The speaker noticed that such management combats cross-border crime.
According to Aimar Koss words, it is very important that EU countries use the latest equipment at border crossing points to speed up customs procedures, but he admitted that the interaction of the human factor and innovative equipment is very effective.
The cadets of the University learned about the strategy of Integrated Border Management.
