The UN Development Programme, with financial support of the European Union, has helped equip the space, where cadets from the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs currently live and study in Kropyvnytskyi with home appliances. Material and technical assistance was provided with the help of the Charitable Foundation “FRIENDS’ SHIP”.
It is not for the first time that the University has to move into another city. In 2014 we were forced to leave non-government controlled Donetsk. Yet again, in February 2022, due to the full-scale war and active hostilities, the entire educational institution had to flee the danger from Mariupol.
Now, the University is facing a challenge of the full recovery of material and technical resources to ensure quality educational process, proper living conditions for higher education applicants. Thanks to a strong support of international partners the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs overcomes hardships and continues its development. Despite everything the University provides an access to high-quality European education, comfortable and secure learning environment for the cadets and the students.
The equipment was purchased by UNDP with funds from the European Union, under the UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme.
The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs expresses sincere gratitude for material and technical assistance. Together we are strong!
