In Kropyvnytskyi. the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs became the venue for the event “Edu_DonSUIA_HR-community: synergy of education and professional community”, organized within the framework of the “Dialogue of government and business”.
During the event, the University focused on the civil employment of future graduates, presenting how its curricula meet the requirements of the modern market.
On behalf of the DonSUIA rector Serhii Vitvitskyi the event was opened by first vice-rector Olena Volobuieva. The guests were welcomed by deputy head of the Kirovohrad regional military administration Kateryna Koltunova, director of the department of education and science Elza Leshchenko and director of the department of economic development and trade of the RMA Svitlana Solomakha.

The participants learned about key specialties in which highly qualified specialists are trained at the DonSUIA: “Law”, “Law Enforcement”, “Psychology”, “Economics”, “Public Management and Administration”.
The University specialists demonstrated modern spaces, specialized classrooms, the Veterans Hub, gyms for physical training, a specialized classroom for home medical care, and a psychological relief room, as well as the capacities of the “Driving School for People with Disabilities,” for combatants including.
During the panel discussion, the participants discussed how to develop partnerships between the University, government agencies, and the leading companies. Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Social Management, Tetiana Kolesnik, noted that today, a graduate of a higher education institution must combine a high level of professional knowledge with key “soft” skills that allow them to be quickly adapted to the changing labor market and work effectively in the modern world.
The synergy of education and the professional community helps to combine theory with practice, update training in accordance with the needs of the labor market, and support the development of both the University and partners, which ultimately contributes to the development of the Kirovohrad region.
