On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine and the National Day of Prayer, a commemorative event was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, dedicated to honoring the defenders, civilians and children who died as a result of armed aggression.
The commemorative events began with a joint performance of the Spiritual Anthem of Ukraine – «Lord, oh the Great and Almighty». The majestic melody, created by Mykola Lysenko, united everyone in a common prayer for peace, stability and invincibility of the Ukrainian people. After the anthem, those present bowed their heads in a moment of silence, honoring the memory of those who became a shield for our state and gave their lives for its independence.
An important part of the meeting was watching President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s address to the people of Ukraine. The words of the state leader once again reminded law enforcement officers of the high price of freedom and shared responsibility for the future of Ukraine.
