On the occasion of the 106th anniversary of proclaming the Act of Unification of Ukrainian Lands, vice-rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs Ruslan Vradii honored the memory of one of the founders of Ukrainian statehood, head of the first Ukrainian government, Volodymyr Vynnychenko.
Together with the representatives of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, the Kirovohrad Regional Council, the Kropyvnytskyi City Council, law enforcement bodies, as well as the military, representatives of the clergy and the youth of the regional center, he laid flowers at the monument to the outstanding Ukrainian politician.
“Volodymyr Vynnychenko is an example of devotion to ideals, courage and uncompromisingness. His legacy inspires us to new achievements and is an example for our youth in terms of national consciousness, uncompromising struggle and love for his Motherland,” said Ruslan Vradii.
To mark the occasion, the DonSUIA cadets unfurled yellow and blue flags and honored the memory of the heroes of Ukraine who gave their lives for its independence.
