Higher education seekers of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs met with Oleksandr Korystiny, chief researcher of the Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, doctor of Law, professor, Honored Scientist of Ukraine.
The event was attended by head of the Kropyvnytskyi Court of Appeal, Valerii Dranyi, and representatives of the Kirovohrad Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Main Office of the National Police in the Kirovohrad Region, the department of Strategic Investigations, and the department of Internal Security.
During the discussion, the participants considered the peculiarities of implementing the analytical component in the activities of different law enforcement bodies and came to the conclusion that the priority for law enforcement bodies is the development of the national sustainability system.
Oleksandr Korystin drew attention to the risk-oriented approach in organizing the activities of law enforcement bodies. On the example of problem-oriented police activity, the possibility of management decision making based on the results of analytical work was admitted.
The speaker also raised the issue of evolutionary changes in law enforcement activity; development of criminal analysis and analytical intelligence; implementation of international experience regarding identification; analysis and assessment of risks specific to the activities of different law enforcement bodies.
The organizers of the event were scientific and pedagogical staff of the DonSUIA department of operative investigative activity and information security within the project “Edu_DonSUIA_Campus: partnership and responsibility of stakeholders in training police officers”.
