As part of the permanent platform work on the quality of the educational process in higher education institutions “Edu_DonSUIA_Campus: partnership and responsibility of stakeholders in the training police officers” a series of educational events “Best Practices of the National Police of Ukraine” were held at the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units named after E.O. Didorenko, of the DonSUIA
The trainers were represented by the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine – Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Police Colonel Andrii Astafiev and his colleague, Police Colonel Mykola Pavlenko.

During the training, the graduate cadets were familiarized with the peculiarities of organizing official activities of criminal investigation officers, interaction with investigators, their material and technical resources, and modern specifics of detecting and documenting crimes under the legal regime of martial law, the peculiarities of interaction with other law enforcement agencies that are part of the security and defense forces of Ukraine, when carrying out stabilization and security measures.


The issue of the quality of professional training of future staffers of territorial units of thual and group work on practical tasks was carried out, and real cases from the experience of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine in solving high-profile crimes and searching for criminals were discussed.
The trainers emphasized the importance of theoretical, practical, psychological, and physical readiness of future law enforcement officers to work in conditions of professional risk.
