The DonSUIA cadet of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, Sofia Snizhko, won an honorable 2nd place in the annual All-Ukrainian local history contest “Here, people, is our glory, the glory of Ukraine!”.
Sofia’s research, entitled “Between the Word of the Kobzar and the Memory of the Land,” examines the key importance of Taras Shevchenko’s creative heritage for the formation of the national consciousness of Ukrainian society through the prism of regional cultural processes.
The works were assessed by a competent jury formed by specialists in the fields of literature, culture, art, and experienced teachers. The assessment was based on professionalism, originality, and depth of disclosure of the topic.
The organizer of the contest was the All-Ukrainian Charitable Cultural and Scientific Foundation of T. Shevchenko.
