In the city of Cherkasy, at the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine, the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine held a public defense of scientific papers of the 2nd stage of the Scientific Paper Contest for higher education seekers of bachelor’s level of higher education institutions belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine sphere of management.
At the final scientific and practical conference, more than 160 contestants from 11 higher education institutions presented their scientific achievements in 19 nominations.
Head of the Contest organizing committee, director of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tarasenko, addressed the participants with a welcome speech, emphasizing practical significance of their research and the prospects of scientific research completed by young people.
According to the results of the Contest, nine young researchers from the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs won prizes.
First degree diplomas were awarded to Dariia Yednak in the nomination «Civil safety (fire and technogenic safety, labor protection)» and Olha Kozhukhova in the nomination «Supply of troops/forces (engineering support of troops/forces, explosives and mine action, logistical support of service and combat activities)».
Silver awards and diplomas of the 2nd degree were awarded to Viktoriia Bahrii in the nomination «Commercial Law; Commercial and Procedural Law», Veronika Syrotiuk in the nomination «Labor Law; Social Security Law» and Rostyslav Doroshenko in the nomination «Radiation, Chemical, Biological Protection, Environmental Protection».
Diplomas of the 3rd degree were awarded to Iulianiia Vinnichenko («Operational and Investigative Activities»), Liliia Bulava («Economic Sciences»), Kamila Vydrych («Social and Humanitarian Sciences») and Anatolii Datskyi («Іnformation Systems and Technologies, Cybersecurity and Information Protection»).
