On the occasion of the 1000th day since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, an extended meeting of research clubs was held at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The speakers were:
– Dmytro Krasnovskyi, a serviceman of the 3rd separate regiment of Special Forces named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave, holder of the Order “For Courage”, participant of combat operations in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions;
– Police Captain Maksym Serentiuk, operative of the Criminal Police Sector of the Kryvyi Rih Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region, a fighter of the Special Task Force of the Liut Brigade;
– Chief Sergeant Volodymyr Kashpurenko, Commander of the air defense platoon of the 644th separate anti-aircraft machine gun battalion, veteran of the internal affairs bodies;
– Alla Moroz, Head of the Department for the Protection of Children’s Interests and Combating Domestic Violence;
– Police Major Oleksandr Sharyi, Investigator of the Main Department of the National Police in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol;
– Yuliia Zahurska, Head of the Combat Stress Control Group;
– Zoriana Zazuliak, PhD in Political Science, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Lviv Polytechnic National University, Civic Education Consultant at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), co-founder and program manager of the NGO Association of Civic Education Teachers;
– Stanislav Borshchak, inspector of the monitoring sector of the Mariupol regional police department in Donetsk region;
– Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Bublichenko, Deputy Chief of Staff of the 121st separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Staff Sergeant 3rd category of the communications department of the headquarters Yaroslav Stas;
– Lieutenant Colonel Dmytro Kolokolov, Deputy Commander of the Special Operations Battalion “Aeneas” of the Liut Brigade;
– Nataliia Salimova, head of the NGO “Association of Participants, ATO/JFO Veterans, their families, volunteers and persons with disabilities ‘Mobile Volunteer Group’, and Mykola Dehtiarov, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war and a member of the NGO.
They talked with DonSUIA’s higher education seekers and discussed the impact of the war on research, the main difficulties and prospects of science in Ukraine, its importance for the post-war reconstruction of our country.
