To mark the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs launched two symbolic initiatives that combine memory, tradition, and a vision for the future.
An «Independence Alley» was established on the University grounds, featuring trees planted to symbolize the life, unity, strength, and resilience of Ukrainian people. Cadets and the University staff adorned the trees with blue-and-yellow ribbons, imbuing the alley with profound patriotic significance. It has become a living symbol of the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence and a reminder of the importance of unity, remembrance and responsibility for the nation’s future.
Another significant event was creation of the «DonSUIA Independence Capsule». First-year students placed their dreams, wishes, and visions of a future Ukraine inside it. The message became a symbol of the generation that was pursuing an education, preparing for service, and contributing to the building of a strong and independent Ukraine.
