The second face-to-face module of the nationwide educational and practical programme «Street Law School 2026» took place at Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, bringing together cross-sectoral teams from legal clinics and civil society organisations in the Volyn, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Chernivtsi regions.
The Street Law methodology aims to develop practical knowledge in the field of human rights and legal education through the use of interactive teaching approaches.
Throughout the programme, participants presented their own copyright awareness sessions, received expert feedback from the trainers and refined their teaching materials for subsequent implementation in their communities.
During the event, guests were given an insight into the activities of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, the specific features of its educational programme and the work of the university’s Psychological Support Centre.
The organisation of the nationwide programme at Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs demonstrated the university’s active involvement in the development of legal education and its support for legal awareness initiatives in Ukraine.
The programme is being implemented as part of the «Human Rights Infrastructure for Ukraine» project (2025–2027), which is funded by the Swedish Government through Sida and implemented by the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, with the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine acting as the implementing partner.
