Alina Kramarenko, a lecturer in the Department of Special Physical Training at Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, led another adaptive strength training session for war veterans as part of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs «Friendly Support» project.
A programme of exercises on the crossover machine and with dumbbells was selected for the participants, aimed at strengthening the muscles of the chest, back, shoulder girdle and arms. This enabled the veterans to effectively develop strength, endurance, coordination and balance, which are essential for restoring their physical capabilities.
Thanks to this professional guidance, adaptive strength training at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs has become an effective rehabilitation tool for military personnel, helping them to successfully overcome challenges and strengthen their self-belief.
