The general library of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs hosted the mixed-format reading club meeting, organized by the Department of Information and Public Communications of the Cabinet of Ministers Secretariat and the Higher School of Public Administration in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
The event was moderated by head of the general library, Yulia Bahlai, together with librarians Antonina Harkusha, Tetiana Zavaliei, Iryna Konieva, and Natalia Baianova.
The online meeting was attended by cadets, as well as scientific and pedagogical staffers of the DonSUIA, Serii Pekarskyi and Ksenia Nikolenko.
This time, the focus was on the book «The Map» by Andrii Zelinskyi, a well-known political scientist and military chaplain. The author’s personal presence added a special touch to the meeting: the participants not only discussed what they had read, but also had a chance to hear the author’s lively reflections on the senses relevant to modern Ukraine.
Also, the higher education seekers shared their own interpretations of the content of the book, discussed the role of the individual in times of challenges, and sought answers together regarding the questions that face every citizen of Ukraine today.
The meeting was held with the support of the project «EU4Youth: Engaging and Empowering Youth», which is co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), in cooperation with the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine and Hanns Seidel Foundation.
