The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs continues its integration into the European educational space. Recently, the University students had a unique opportunity to delve into the intricacies of European law during an international online lecture dedicated to the legal regulation of sustainable urban mobility.
The main expert of the meeting was Dr. Marc Tarres Vives, leading Spanish professor of administrative law. As a recognized expert in the fields of transport, new technologies in urban planning and sharing economy, he shared advanced cases of regulating modern urban space.
The event was co-hosted by Dr. Olha Tylchyk, professor at the University of Barcelona, who is a key ambassador of the Ukrainian-Spanish academic dialogue.
During the event, the participants considered current trends and challenges in the legal provision of urban mobility in the countries of the European Union, analyzed the experience of Spain in regulating new modes of transport, the issue of sustainable urban development and urban processes. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of adapting European approaches to Ukrainian realities.
The event was held within the framework of a strategic partnership between the DonSUIA and one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Europe – the University of Barcelona (Universitat de Barcelona, Spain).
