On the instructions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, from January 5 to 9, 2026, a training seminar on the topic «Military-patriotic education as an area of educational work in lyceums of security-orientation and national-patriotic education» was held for staffers of the MIA lyceums at the DonSUIA Kryvyi Rih Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine together with the MIA Department for Monitoring the Activities of Lyceum Students, the Unit of Information and Cultural Support of the Department for Work with Personnel of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine «Azov» and the Kryvyi Rih Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The seminar curriculum consisted of two main blocks. The first block included lectures on the formation of Ukrainian history, national consciousness, and the importance of the Ukrainian nation in the face of modern challenges. The speakers were officers of the Khorunzhyi Service Corps and the «Lubart» Brigade.
During the second block, instructors from the 12th «Azov» Brigade introduced participants to methods of stopping critical bleeding and providing assistance to victims. They also provided training in relevant practical skills. As a result of the training, the trainees received certificates from the international program of American College of Surgeons «Stop the Bleed».

In addition, on behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Head of the Department for Monitoring the Activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Larysa Vasianovych, presented the participants certificates of completing the training seminar.
Conducting such events is an important component of the Ministry of Internal Affairs systematic work, aimed at instilling national-patriotic values, civic responsibility, and practical security skills in high school students.
