A ceremonial presentation of the state award – the medal «For impeccable service» – took place at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. By the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated May 26, 2025, Deputy Director for Educational and Research Activities of the E. O. Didorenko Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the DonSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel Olha Merdova was awarded the medal «For impeccable service».
The award was presented for her many years of conscientious service, high professionalism, significant personal contribution to the development of legal science, training highly qualified specialists for law enforcement bodies, and dedication to serving the people Ukraine.
Receiving this award is the evidence of proper assessment at the state level of scientific, educational and service activities results of the University representatives, who, under martial law, continue to adequately fulfill the tasks assigned to them.
