On the occasion of the All-Ukrainian Library Day, Rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Serhii Vitvitskyi, congratulated the staffers of the general library on their professional holiday by presenting them with a certificate of gratitude “For conscientious work, professionalism and significant personal contribution to the development of library and information activities at the University.”
Also, the DonSUIA library hosted the campaign “Present a book to the library.” The initiative aimed to draw the attention of higher education seekers to the role of libraries in society, encourage young people to charity work and cultural development, as well as to promote the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
The cadets, students, staffers, researchers, and the administration of the higher education institution joined the good cause. Due to their initiative, the bookshelves were replenished with educational, popular scientific, official literature, modern fiction by Ukrainian and foreign authors, publications on psychology, history, and other fields science.
The University community expresses sincere gratitude to everyone who joined the campaign, because the donated book is a contribution to the future, to the development of an educated, reading society.
