DonSUIA higher education seekers of the faculty of law, management and economic security Viktoriia Bahrii, Kateryna Rovna and Dariia Antonenko took part in the workshop “Procedural Interview”.
The speakers at the event were scientific and pedagogical staffers from higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, as well as representatives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, prosecutor’s offices, and the National Police of Ukraine.
Dina Drobenko, a lecturer at the department of criminal procedure and forensics of the DonSUIA, as a trainer, conducted a class on the topic “Preparation for a procedural interview.”
During a three-day session, the DonSUIA students were mastering the stages of interview preparation, the rules of formulating goals and building strategies that meet modern standards of the criminal process. They consolidated their knowledge through practical simulations, working in pairs and developing communication skills without pressure and manipulation.
At the end of the training, the participants received certificates.
The event was implemented by the JustLearn development hub with the support of the JustGroup public organization, in partnership with the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs and the Norwegian Center for Human Rights of the University of Oslo, within the framework of the project “Transformational Recovery for Human Security in Ukraine”, funded by the government of Japan and implemented by UNDP in Ukraine.
