As part of the Payment Security Contest «My Safe Community», the Department of Operational Investigation and Information Security of the Didorenko Educational and Scientific Institute of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the DonSUIA held a series of educational events for cadets.
The training took place in the format of a detective investigation: the participants worked with «Evidence Boards», completed the «Fraud Investigation» quest, and analyzed real fraud cases in the games «True or Fake» and «Vacancy or Scam? Recognize the Risk».
During the events, the police officers practiced skills in recognizing phishing sites, protecting personal data, and safely using public Wi –Fi. Special attention was paid to instantly identifying suspicious links and understanding typical Internet fraud schemes.
The contest was held with the support of the Charitable Organization «Kredobank Foundation» as part of the All-Ukrainian information campaign to combat payment fraud #ShakhrayGoodbye and was timed to coincide with Safer Internet Day.
