Today, youth is not only the future, but also a driving force capable of changing the society right now. The Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, together with the Department of Educational Security Service Organization of the Main Office of the National Police in the Kirovohrad region, summed up the results of the creative essay competition dedicated to the All-Ukrainian campaign «16 Days Against Violence». The event brought together 10th-11th formers and college students in a common desire to build a world without aggression.
In their works, the participants reflected on the value of human dignity, the importance of not being indifferent, and how personal responsibility of each of us can stop the chain of injustice.
The jury noted a high level of sincerity and the depth of analysis in the contestants’ works. According to the assessment results, the top three included:
1st place was won by student of Kropyvnytskyi Construction Vocational College Kateryna Yakunenko;
2nd place was given to student of Novoukrainskyi Lyceum № 6 Loredana Zaluzhna;
3rd place was obtained by a representative of Novoprazskyi Lyceum №1 of Oleksandrijskyi district, of the Kirovohrad region Anna Kliatska.
The winners received certificates and gifts, and their works became an example of a conscious attitude to important social issues.
The DonSUIA and its partners will continue to support young people, stimulating the development of values of respect, tolerance, and mutual support.
