A meeting of higher education seekers with a war veteran, leading specialist of social and humanitarian work and national-patriotic education unit of the University’s social and humanitarian work department, Viktor Shcherbyna took place at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The veteran shared his experience of serving in a volunteer brigade, spoke about the challenges on the front line, and together with law enforcement officers discussed the importance of patriotism for the formation of civic consciousness among young people.
The infantryman also demonstrated a modern military first aid kit, explained the structure of its elements, the peculiarities of using tourniquets, bandages, and tactical first aid equipment.
Such meetings at the DonSUIA are an integral part of national and patriotic education, as they form a sense of respect for the defenders of Ukraine among cadets and students.
