Rector of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs Serhii Vitvitskyi, together with cadets, took part in the ceremony on the occasion of the Day of Reunion of Ukraine, which took place on the square in front of the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State University.
The event was also attended by heads of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, the Kirovohrad Regional Council, the Kropyvnytskyi City Council, representatives of law enforcement bodies, military personnel, and clergy.
During the celebrations, the participants laid flowers at the monument to head of the first Ukrainian government, Volodymyr Vynnychenko, honoring the memory of the fighters for the independence and unity of Ukraine.
