On August 19, the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs began training 990 cadets at the faculties of training specialists for pre-trial investigation units, training specialists for preventive activities units, training specialists for criminal police units, training specialists for the units of the National Police.
The first in the 2024-2025 academic year line-up began with bringing in the University banner and the performance of the Anthem of Ukraine. Those present observed a minute of silence for all those killed in Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
On behalf of the DonSUIA rector, police colonel Serhii Vitvitskyi, young policemen were congratulated by the University vice-rector, police lieutenant colonel Ruslan Vradii. He wished everyone an easy and fruitful study.
Despite repeated displacements, the DonSUIA continues to restore and increase its capacities at the new place location. For convenient and safe training of higher education seekers the University material and technical base is constantly updated and all the appropriate conditions for the continuous and high-quality educational process of the young generation of law enforcement officers of Ukraine are created.
